Future - Dare to look?
With the entry into the new stage, parents think about our futures WAY in advance.. Mum, especially drop hints about us so very often. It's very scary.. Maybe because I feel insecure.
Life is so uncertain. So many things happen beyond what we expect. When that happens, we often don't react that well to it. That's why I don't like to make promises.
Hong says that I think too much. Maybe I'm like Lynette Scavo in Desperate Housewives, where I'm constantly waiting for the misfortune to happen, cos I'm certain it will. But when it does, I'll be really upset about it.
Almost four years down the road.. Yes, a wonderfully long journey. But how will it go from here? I still don't dare to think too much. It's unpredictable. Perhaps after he finally secures a job, we'll have a good gauge of what to expect. Nope, a rough gauge. A very rough one. Only because he's beyond predictability. :)
